Rumbalara Rebels Music Group

The Rumbalara Rebels is a 50+ Ukulele-based music group, made up of musicians from all over the Central Coast. The group is focused on socializing and bonding over the love of
music. They play weekly on Friday mornings and welcome beginners and players of other instruments. To join, please see the reception desk and the cost is $5 per week.

Mindful Art
Are you looking for a lovely, friendly, social morning where you can gather with likeminded people to do adult colouring in? The Mindful Art Group meet each Wednesday morning from 9am to 11.30am with a break for morning tea (This is at your own expense $4 for a cuppa and cake). We take our morning tea in the Dining Room and if you wish you can stay after the group for lunch. New members are made to feel welcome and if you would like to try the group out we can supply you with the necessary equipment for the first week. After this you can bring along your own books and preferred pencils and the weekly cost is $3.

Mixed Board Games

There are plenty of board games and card games at the Centre. If there is a game that anyone would like to play that we don’t have, please feel free to bring it along and teach us how to play. We learn from each other how to play new games. We would love to have more  members with a fun loving nature and big smile join us of a Wednesday afternoon.

5 Crowns Card Game
Would you like to join our group and play a game of cards? It's called 5 Crowns and it is very similar to Rummy. You can also look it up on the internet to see how it is played. We play on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 12 noon until 3pm. It's a game that gets your brain working and thinking. If you would like to play or to get more details please contact Reception on 4324 2287.

Rummikub group

Every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm.

Playing games like Rummikub improves mental health through improved cognitive function and hand eye coordination, enhanced critical thinking and critical thinking skills, less stress, and reduced risk of dementia and Alzheimers.

Beginners and “old hands” are invited to join the Rummikub group on Tuesday afternoons from 1pm to 3pm. Rummikub is fun, easy to learn and fast moving. The game combines luck and strategy.

Rummikub is a tile-based game, combining elements of Rummy and Mahjong. Every player has a chance to win until the very end. Players take turns placing numbered tiles in runs and groups. The Joker tiles add to the fun; they can be any colour or number. We use an agreed set of game rules. The object is to be the first to play every one of your tiles. 

Arrive early and enjoy a nourishing and tasty lunch. Lunch orders must be phoned in on 4324 2287 by 11am.

Social Scrapbooking​

We are a happy, social little group that would love to welcome new members. We run every Wednesday afternoon f rom 1pm - 3pm. and the cost is just $4. We scrapbook photos that our children take so we can complete family albums. Most of us have our own equipment but there is plenty of paper, stickers, stamps and scissors etc in the cupboard for people to use. New participants will need to bring along their own albums, photos and cards to work on, When we have no photos to work on we will make special cards for our families. We often use YouTube videos to discover new techniques. Several members of our group also make cards for charity with one supporting a nursing home and another supporting disadvantaged children. Weekly cost is $4.

Table Tennis

Whether you're looking for a fun, social game or just want to connect with fellow table tennis enthusiasts come along and join in this great activity. Sessions are held twice weekly on Monday and Thursday afternoons.

Indoor Bowls
Looking for some fun indoors? Come and play indoor bowls with us! It's a way to socialise and stay active. Join us in a game today!

Darts
Darts is a popular precision sport where players throw small, pointed missiles known as darts at a circular target fixed to a wall. The game combines skill, strategy and concentration, making it an engaging pastime for players of all skill levels.

​Mahjong
Mahjong is a classic Chinese tile-based game for 3-4 players, similar to rummy, where the goal is to form winning hands (melds) of sets and pairs by drawing and discarding tiles, blending skill, strategy, and luck. The group has a teacher available so you are welcome to come and learn or test your skills with other experienced players.
